CHIPS has a service contract with Hertfordshire County Council under their Short Breaks Local Offer.

CHIPS also receive fees from the parents and carers of children who attend the playschemes. For parents who cannot afford our modest fees, we offer a discounted place to their children. CHIPS is determined that nothing should prevent a child with special needs from playing with other children.

CHIPS needs to fundraise over £60,000 a year. In addition the charity looks to be awarded grants from other funding bodies to the value of £60,000 per year. This funding is required additionally to the income raised through our own fundraising activities and donations, in order to maintain the current level of services offered to our members.

We’d love to hear from you if you would like to help us fundraise, if you are looking to fundraise for us at an event/challenge or if your group/business/organisation would like to hear more about CHIPS.

CHIPS is very grateful to all the charities and organisations that support us each year, by providing vital funds through grant allocations . Money received through these grants enables the siblings to attend sessions, the purchase of new toys and equipment, parties, entertainers to visit sessions  and  fun outings .
