Age ranges for the Computer Club and Climbing Club have now  been reduced to 12 years +
 Computer Club – this club for children aged 12+ will run fortnightly on Tuesday evenings from 7.00pm – 9.00pm at Scott House, Hagsdell Road, Hertford next session will be on 2nd June.  Places must be booked in advance.  A chance for children to play games, surf the internet, challenge other gamers and learn new computer skills.  CHIPS staff will be present so no need for parents to stay.  Cost is £4 per session.  To book a place, please contact gill@chipsplay.org or call 01992 534664.
Climbing Club – at Essex Outdoors, Burnt Mill Lane, Harlow, Essex.  The club will run fortnightly on Sundays, next session will be 31st  May, 11.00am – 1.00pm.  Children should be aged 12+, places must be reserved in advance.  CHIPS staff will be present so no need for parents to stay.  Cost is £4 per session.  To book a place, please contact gill@chipsplay.org or call 01992 534664.
Model Railway Club will be running on 6th June, & 4th July, 10.00-11.30am.  The club is specifically for children aged 14+, but if your child is not 14 but would still be interested please contact the office to discuss.  The club is located at The Hoddesdon Railway Club, Broxbourne Meadows, Mill Lane, Broxbourne EN10 7AX.  Spaces are limited so if your child would be interested in attending any of the above dates, please contact the office by email gill@chipsplay.org or phone 01992 534664 to book a space.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer and register in advance.  We would also like to have a train set at the club that the children can play with in case of wet weather, if anyone has an old train set that they would like to donate, please contact us.
We are also looking for extra staff for the new climbing club, again please contact the office if you know of anyone who would be interested, or alternatively ask them to contact the office to request an application form.

Charity Jam Jars –  Please contact the office if you would like some empty jam jars for yourself, your friends, family, office or place of work.
£100 challenge – we challenge you to raise £100.00 in the month of July.  Please contact the office for more details.
Friday 26th June – Wodson Park – CHIPS Summer quiz – 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.  Please contact the office for a booking form to reserve your table.  Maximum 8 brains to a table, £6.00 per head.

Thank you to Mr & Mrs Sauvary for their kind donation of £150.00.
Saturday 16th May – Coffee morning at the Methodist Church, Ware Road, Hertford raised a fantastic £475.41. – the knitted bunny rabbit (kindly donated by Hoddesdon parent Julie Williams) was raffled and was won by Alice Newman, which brings the grand total raised to £598.21.  Thank you to all who helped make the event such a success.
Sunday 17th May – Newgate Street Fete – CHIPS ran 3 stalls, a bric-a-brac stall, a human fruit machine, and a guess the name of the guinea pig.  The total raised at this event was £334.36 – again thanks to the people who helped on the day.
Morgan & Mason De’Ath (Hoddesdon scheme), are competing in their first Mini Tough Mudder on 30th May.  They are raising money for CHIPS, Reverse Rett and Grove Cottage.  If you would like to sponsor them please visit their virgin money page – http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/DeAthBoys
