CHIPS receive a £10,000.00 grant!

CHIPS  is delighted to receive a grant of £10,000 from Hertfordshire Community Foundation to fund the Christmas Playschemes 2020.The CHIPS Trustees are extremely grateful for this support as the charity’s income from fundraising and donations has been severely affected by the current pandemic. Without this support the Trustees would have been forced to make the very difficult decision to cancel the playschemes this year .Play is such an important part of all children’s development, especially   during a crisis ,play has a significant therapeutic role , helping children recover a sense of normality and joy . The playscheme sessions will  also give parents some respite time  to catch their breath and have a break from their caring responsibilities at a very busy time of year.’ #FundedByHCF

CHIPS have been gifted a beautiful handmade quilt by the Amwell Quilters. They have made a high quality fully lined cotton quilt that can either be put over a single bed or hung as a tapestry on a wall (see photo below).
To be in with a chance of winning this quilt simply contact the CHIPS office on 01992 534664 or Email to purchase your raffle tickets (£10.00 each) The live draw will take place at the end of October 2020. 😊 Thank you for your continued support.
