Calling all budding artists – CHIPS will be running a Pavement Chalk Art competition at the Street Art Festival 10.00am – 4.00pm – pop along and enter or just come and say hello!




London Marathon – 23rd April

CHIPS Activity Clubs for 12-19 year olds  – new dates for the summer term

Would your teenager be interested in attending any of our special activity clubs?

 Climbing Club, Essex Outdoors, Burnt Mill Lane, Harlow, Essex CM20 2QS –

Sundays 12.30-2.30pm –  23rd April, 7th May, 14th May, 4th June, 9th July and 16th July 2017.

Age range has now been lowered to 10 years old.

  Cookery Club, Pinewood School, Hoe Lane, Ware SG12 9PB – Thursdays 7.00-9.00pm4th May, 18th May, 8th June, 29th June and 6th July  (Cost includes all ingredients)

 Computer Club, Selections Children’s Centre, Hertford SG14 2DG

Tuesdays 25th April, 2nd May, 23rd May, 6th June, 27th June and 4th July.  The club is currently full but please call the office to put your name on our waiting list.

Many thanks to Debs (Lady Golf Captain – Hanbury Manor) for organising a Charity Barn Dance in aid of CHIPS.  A fun evening of “promenading” and “do-si-do” ing was had by all who attended.  The total raised was a fantastic £780.00.

Thanks to Wendy Tucker (Ware Inner Wheel Club) for raising £200 at the Ware Dickensian Evening.

Our 5p total is now up to £2,331.17 – many thanks to everyone who has been collecting their 5ps – keep up the good work!!
