The Cookery Club is looking to borrow a pasta machine for one evening to demonstrate how to make pasta.  If you have a pasta machine that you would be willing to lend the Cookery Club, please contact  or call the office on 01992 534664.

David P MacDonald Photography in Ware has donated Family Portrait Vouchers worth £194.00 (to include a 1 hour studio session and an 8” x 6” heat sealed and frame portrait) for only £20.00. CHIPS Activity Clubs for 12-19 year olds  – new dates for the summer term

Would your teenager be interested in attending any of our special activity clubs?

Climbing Club, Essex Outdoors, Burnt Mill Lane, Harlow, Essex CM20 2QS –

Sundays 12.30-2.30pm –  4th June, 9th July and 16th July 2017.

Age range has now been lowered to 10 years old.

Cookery Club, Pinewood School, Hoe Lane, Ware SG12 9PB – Thursdays 7.00-9.00pm 8th June, 29th June and 6th July  (Cost includes all ingredients)

Computer Club, Selections Children’s Centre, Hertford SG14 2DG

Tuesdays 6th June, 27th June and 4th July.  The club is currently full but please call the office to put your name on our waiting list.  Please contact Gill at the office on 01992 534664 or email to book a place.  Cost is £4.00 per session or £24.00 a term.  Places for all clubs must be reserved in advance. 


Hoddesdon Model Railway Club, Broxbourne Meadows, Mill Lane, Broxbourne EN10 7AX

Club will run on 24th June and 22nd July – 10.00-11.30am.  The club is specifically for children aged 14+ but if your child is younger but would still be interested please contact the office to discuss.  Contact Gill at the office on 01992 534664 or email to book a space.  Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer and places must be booked in advance.

Jackson Square Car Park, Bishops Stortford – Car Wash Collection

Many thanks to Mayor Cllr Colin Woodward and all the Pro Valet team at Jackson Square Car Park, Bishops Stortford for arranging and participating in a Charity Car Wash on Tuesday 16th May.  Total raised at the car wash was £840.35.  Many thanks to Jane Sears, Tricia Campbell, David Windridge, Rhiannon Lowe, Helen Smith & Karen Slater for manning the information stall and collecting £117.35.



HUGE congratulations to Conor Pettit who has just completed the Leeds Half Marathon! He’s raised over £400 for us!




Wow! Stuart Hall (Ware parent) has completed 10k number two of five at the weekend – the Hertford 10k run! He’s raised over £750 so far thanks to his hard work and the lovely customers of iSmashedIt in Hoddesdon where he is the manager. Nice one Stu, and keep up the brilliant work!




Many thanks to Graham & Danique Nickson for helping out with the Pavement Chalk Art competition on 22nd April.


Our 5p total is now up to £2,429.34 – many thanks to everyone who has been collecting their 5ps – keep up the good work!!
