CHIPS Information
IMPORTANT – SBLO Sign Up – please do not delay in signing up for SBLO – please contact the HUB to arrange your eligibility check – Kirsty/Rachel 01992 504013.  Please note that children over the age of 5 years old will not be able to attend CHIPS after Easter if they have not been through the eligibility check.

Mudlarks Café have a music night on the last Thursday of every month. They have a licence for these events so you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer while listening to talented local musicians.

Current Vacancies 
Administration Assistant: We are looking for an Admin Assistant to work in the office in Hertford. 18 hours per week. Duties will include: supporting the other office staff with the organisation of the playschemes and other activities offered by the charity – (AGM, Christmas parties, outings), maintaining records, some financial administration and organising fundraising events.
Candidates should have a keen eye for detail. Must be computer literate and have knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. Training and development opportunities available. Please contact the office for further information or to request an application form/job description.
General Staffing: – We are looking for extra staff in Cheshunt and Hoddesdon. Please contact the office if you know of anyone who would be interested in working at CHIPS, or alternatively ask them to contact the office to request an application form.

13^th March – The CHIPS Ball, Cheshunt De Vere Hotel, tickets £60.00 a head, dinner, dancing, raffle and auction. Tickets on sale now. Details here. All proceeds to CHIPS.
Sponsorship/Fundraisers
A fundraising plea – we urgently need your support with our fundraising activities, we need to raise £60-£70K each year and we can only achieve this target with your help. Please let us know if you have any fundraising ideas.
A big thank you to Sukanta, CHIPS Trustee for once again opening her home and providing a fantastic Indian Cuisine evening which has so far raised in excess of £500.
Well done to Emily Cowell , Volunteer in Cheshunt, for winning the Junior Young Carer of the Year Award, and for giving £100 to CHIPS.
Mercury and Observer Community Awards
Congratulations to Bishops Stortford parent, Esme Willcocks for being awarded Carer of the Year, and Hoddesdon parent, Barbara Bennett for Highly Commended.
Congratulations to both Lennon Ruffles and Kaylin Banks as joint winners of the Most Courageous Young Person award.
