CHIPS Information:

Current Vacancies:
General Staffing: – We are looking for extra staff in Cheshunt. Please contact the office if you know of anyone who would be interested in working at CHIPS, or alternatively ask them to contact the office to request an application form.
Forthcoming Events:
CHIPS are in the process of setting up a Model Railway Club for children aged 14+ . The first session will be held on Saturday 28th March – 10.00-11.30 am at The Hoddesdon Railway Club, Broxbourne Meadows, Mill Lane, Broxbourne EN10 7AX. Spaces are limited so if your child would be interested please contact the office by email helen@chipsplay.org or phone 01992 534664 to book a space. Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer and register in advance. If your child is not 14 but would still be interested please contact the office to discuss.
We will be rescheduling this event – Sunday 26th April – Wodson Park – CHIPS Wheelie Fun Afternoon – 1.30pm-4.30pm
Saturday 16th May – Coffee morning and stalls at the Methodist Church, Ware Road, further details to come.
Friday 26th June – Wodson Park – CHIPS quiz – 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start. Please contact the office for a booking form to reserve your table. Maximum 8 brains to a table, £6.00 per head.
Sponsorship/Fundraisers/Donations:
A big thank you to Hollywood Class at Forres School for donating the fantastic amount of £209.40. The money was raised during the ‘Dragons Den’ Business Enterprise Event, and involved selling chocolate!

CHIPS Ball – 13th March – a huge thank you to Teresa & Vince DiMartino for all their efforts in organising the CHIPS Ball. A wonderful evening enjoyed by all who attended, and the total raised to date is a fantastic £9,500. Many, many thanks to Teresa who can finally have her house free of raffle/auction prizes!!

Hertfordshire CP Football Kickstart – Working in partnership with Broxbourne Borough FC, Watford FC Sport & Education Trust and Hertfordshire FA, Cerebral Palsy (CP) Sport will deliver a CP Football Kickstart event to get more children with cerebral palsy and other physical impairments enjoying the beautiful game, which will then have regular football sessions following on. Our CP Football Kickstarts aim to engage local participants to be part of a fun football event, leading on to regular local based playing opportunities for every individual regardless of ability level. If you would like to join CP Sport for our CP Football Kickstart event, please ask the CHIPS office for a registration form.
