CHIPS flies with a donation from the Stansted Airport Passenger Community Fund

CHIPS would like to say a huge THANKYOU to the lovely members of the Stansted Airport Passenger Community Fund for their generous donation of over £800. This fantastic donation will allow CHIPS to do two things which will help us to better support the local community in East Hertfordshire.
– To purchase a range of culturally diverse, age appropriate toys, to help children attending CHIPS, whatever their background, to feel more included in our playschemes. A wider range of toys will also help to promote inclusion, cultural sensitivity and a better understanding of people from different cultures and beliefs.
– To purchase new modern mobile phones for the CHIPS Office and East Hertfordshire Playschemes that will allow CHIPS’ Staff to better communicate.
Securing adequate funding for CHIPS is an increasing challenge and we rely on local organisations like the Stansted Airport Passenger Community Fund to help us to continue with our core work of helping children with special needs and their brothers/sisters to have fun together and their parents to have a short break from their caring responsibilities.
