Stortford Charity Car Wash Raises Over £950

Incoming Bishops Stortford Mayor kicks off year of fundraising with car wash for CHIPS Charity!
On the 16th of May, Pro Valet held a special car wash day at Jackson Square Car Park in Bishop’s Stortford and taking donations for CHIPS. The day itself was been organised in conjunction with incoming Mayor of Bishops Stortford, Councillor Colin Woodward to kickstart his year of fundraising.
CHIPS was also in attendance to give out information on what they do, and how people can get involved in the Charity. In addition to raising this fantastic total we were really pleased to have the opportunity to have a presence in the town to raise our profile. During the day we received a lot of positive feedback from the public. We had a number of enquiries about staff and volunteer positions too!
A massive thank you to Bujar and all the team at ProValet, Cllr Woodward, the CHIPS Volunteers, everyone who came and supported us, and the people of Stortford for the warm welcome. We wish Cllr Woodward all the very best for his year as Mayor, and we look forward to attending the Stortford Carnival on the 17th of June – we hope to see you all there!
